What's Being Built
Multiple Pay Structures
Configure pay per mile (loaded and empty), per load flat rate, percentage of gross load revenue, or hourly. Each driver can have a different pay structure in the system.
Automatic Settlement Calculation
At the end of each pay period, the system calculates each driver's gross earnings from completed loads. Deductions (insurance, advances, fuel advances) are subtracted automatically.
Settlement Sheets
Generates a settlement PDF for each driver showing load-by-load earnings, deductions itemized, and net pay. Drivers see their settlement in the Driver Portal — no PDFs sent by email or text.
Deduction Tracking
Track recurring deductions (insurance, ELD fee, escrow) and one-time deductions (advances, lumper reimbursements, fines). Each deduction is itemized on the settlement sheet.
Driver Earnings Visibility
Drivers see their current pay period earnings in real time from the Driver Portal — loads completed, miles driven, and estimated gross. No waiting until payday to know where they stand.
Payroll Export
Export net pay amounts in a format compatible with payroll processors. Reduces manual re-entry between the TMS and payroll — one export, one import, done.
📅 COMING SOON — After Core Pay Ships
- Owner-operator settlements — percentage-based gross pay minus carrier fees, with separate 1099 tracking
- Fuel advance management — issue and track fuel advances with automatic deduction on next settlement
- Direct deposit integration — pay drivers directly from the portal via ACH
- Year-end 1099 generation — automatic 1099-NEC forms for owner-operators at year end
Driver pay disputes start with unclear settlement sheets.
When drivers can see exactly how their pay was calculated — load by load, mile by mile — disputes drop. Transparency in pay is one of the top factors in driver retention.
